The original Nexus rods have been a staple in our brand since our entrance into the fishing tackle market. When the original Nexus rods were first introduced, they swept the market by storm once anglers came to understand they would be getting a premium carbon fiber fishing rod at a fraction of market competition's price. Price, Durability, Strength, and Sensitivity were the product key features, resulting in a huge success. The Nexus 2.0s are now built with 24T carbon fiber, sourced from Toray's Japan factory. Toray is widely known for being one of the top manufacturers of carbon fiber sheets in the world, used to make some of the top of the line fishing rods in the world. This upgrade in the raw material now results in a stronger, more durable, and more sensitive fishing rod. We've also added a layer of textured carbon fiber that not only makes these rods more aesthetically pleasing, but helps reinforce the integrity of the blank. Another major upgrade is we've opted to outfit these rods with Fuji's New Concept O Ring guides. With an entire cosmetic upgrade including custom designed ergonomic EVA grips, custom designed reel seats on both spinning and conventional models, our biggest joy in these new rods are being able to make them available to you at the same price the originals were at! Jigging World offers FREE shipping for orders over $99 in the continental United States, EXCLUDING Rods, Blanks and other oversized items (items BESIDES Rods and Blanks that are considered oversized will be specifically noted in the item's Product Description).
There is a $25 flat rate shipping fee for all Rods and Blanks within the continental United States.
We use UPS (United Parcel Service) for all orders that includes Rods, Blanks, and Reels. All orders that includes Rods, Blanks, and Reels require Signature Confirmation. If you would like to opt out of Signature Confirmation, please us know in your Order Notes in your order cart BEFORE proceeding to checkout. If the order has already shipped, please use UPS My Choice to change confirmation method. Got the new 2.0. Beautiful rod, very light. Caught 39" striped bass on it, Medium 3/4 - 1.5oz rating. handled it no problem. Paired with 5000 Shimano Vanford.
Also have the 1-4oz with 4000 stradic, amaizing...
You guys are great spot on, with delivery, and with honoring my warranty. However I only have one problem and that is I didn't receive the exact ride that I had before I was received a different ride I believe because you guys didn't have it or wherever it is what it is but you guys are great Thank you very much

Jigging World Nexus 2.0 Rods
Picked up a conventional 7’ MH action to do triple duty for stripers, sea bass and fluke. Sensitive enough for sea bass and fluke and powerful enough for large stripers. Ordered it on line and the delivery person laid it horizontally directly in front of my wife’s garage door. Of course she backed over the package, not once but twice once startled. Unbelievably it came through with no damage whatsoever! Used it the very next day and came up with my PB fluke at 8.4#. Love this rod. My boys have both their spinning and conventional rods and are extraordinarily pleased with the value, performance and durability of the Nexus line.
